Now into six months trying to get paid for an approved hail damaged roof repair. They dispute every proven fact and drag it out as long as possible. Emails and calls rarely returned. State Insurance Dept. case opened but the company lied to them saying they paid the claim - but they only paid around 40% of the final (unfairly low) claim to which the adjuster approved (after 4 months of argument).

My agent reached out to Berkshire Hathaway Guard again and was able to get this issue resolved. Horrible!!!! I was switching my homeowners policy and decided on Berkshire Hathaway Guard. Bad choice, they refuse to reorder a inspection for the policy. I got a Notice of Cancellation in the mail and the very next day I reached out to Berkshire Hathaway Guard and after being passed around to the different departments I finally spoke to a auditor, but as soon as they found out I was a policy holder they couldn't talk to me.

I have yet to hear from my adjuster for a claim was filed 2 weeks ago. I have no water in my home and this company does nothing but transfer me to voicemails. I'm a catastrophe adjuster myself and this service is definitely not the meaning of insurance. I can't put into words how disappointed I am to be insured by this company and will make sure I tell all about the lack of communication, lack of service and accuracy this company displays. I was told to pay for repairs and keep invoices until they get back with me. If I had the money for the repairs I wouldn't need to call you. I will say that the money I pay this company for a policy is worthless and desperately wish I had it back to repair my home.

WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING! My dad was in an automobile accident on Friday, March 13, 2020 with a vehicle that was insured by Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Company. Their driver was at fault and had no registration. The next week was when the World and the United States shut down due to Covid. We were in unprecedented times and still are as of March 11, 2021. My dad could not go to the doctor because they were not seeing any patients but Covid patients. They would not see a patient who had an injured hip from a car accident. The front driver door would only open 25% after impact. Every representative that I spoke with at this company was very rude [. . .]
