"I have had East Bay as my insurance agents for both car and home for over 20 years. Two stories are examples of how having a local agent helps make my life easier! A few weeks ago my car was caught in a flash flood in the faculty parking lot at USF, and ultimately totaled. I have never had to deal with this kind of issue before, and it was so nice to just call Liz, who made the arrangements for everything with Auto Owners, as well as the process of getting my new car insured. Several years ago I was traveling in North Carolina, and while I was stopped at a traffic light, I was hit from behind by a teenager. The teenager's father and his insurance company were not cooperative at all and were pressuring me to handle the situation off the books. But one call to East Bay and I was again told the proper way to handle it and assured that they and Auto Owners would deal with it, and I just needed to worry about getting back home and getting my car repaired. I was fully reimbursed for all repairs and a rental car while the repairs were being made.
