Porter- Brandenburg Agency was established by James (Jim) Porter, and Wesley Brandenburg. These independent insurance leaders merged their agencies in 1995. Brandenburg Insurance began in 1959, and Porter Agency was formed in 1984. In 2001 James Porter and Ronald Ward created Porter- Ward Agency, Inc. This entity was formed to combine our books of business, with computable companies to create synergy, and leverage through higher premium volume. Ronald Ward, who has been in business since 1974, operates from a separate location at 2712 West Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
